Privacy Policy
In short: simpleGRID collects nothing, sends nothing and tracks nothing. It has no accounts, no analytics and no ads, and it never connects to the internet. Your photos and projects stay on your iPhone.
Photos you divide
You choose a photo in the system photo picker, so simpleGRID sees only the photo you pick — it has no access to the rest of your library. The photo you choose, or take with the camera in the app, is copied into the app's storage on your iPhone for the project. It is deleted together with the project, and all projects are deleted when you delete the app.
Data stored on your device
Your projects and settings — appearance, language and your last choices on the Save screen — are stored only on your iPhone. They are included in your device backup (for example iCloud Backup, if you use it), which is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. I have no access to any of this data.
Saved files
Mosaics and tiles you save go only where you send them: to your library in Photos, or wherever you share them (AirDrop, Messages, Files and more). Location data (GPS) is always removed from saved files.
Permissions
- Camera — used only when you take a photo in the app.
- Photos, add only — to save mosaics and tiles to your library. simpleGRID can only add photos; it can't see the photos already there.
No internet access
The app doesn't connect to the internet for any purpose. There are no analytics, no ads and no tracking, and nothing is sent to me or to anyone else.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.
