simpleGRID
Coming soon
simpleGRID lays a grid of perfect squares over any photo. Artists use it for the classic grid method: draw the same grid on paper or canvas and copy the picture square by square, so the proportions stay right. It's just as handy for splitting a photo into equal tiles — one image or every tile as a separate file.
- For drawing and painting. Sketches, paintings, murals or learning to draw — keep the gridded photo on your iPhone next to your work, or print it.
- For social media. Split one photo into equal tiles and post them in order for a seamless mosaic on your profile, or a carousel.
- And more. Print a big picture across several sheets, make a photo puzzle, plan a cross-stitch, quilt or tile pattern, or prepare a lesson for an art class.
- A grid that fits. 1 to 40 columns and rows. Fit to photo keeps the grid as large as the photo allows; drag the grid to move it and drag a corner to resize the squares. Touch and hold the photo to see it without the grid.
- Lines your way. Thickness from 0 to 100 px, opacity, white, black or any color from the palette or a #RRGGBB code, with or without a frame around the edge.
- One image or every tile. The photo with the grid, or each square as a separate file without lines — in JPEG, HEIC or PNG. Save to Photos or share with AirDrop, Messages, Files and more.
- Projects save themselves. Come back to them any time; deleting a project never deletes the photo from your library.
- Private by design. No account, no internet connection, no analytics, no ads. Location data is always removed from saved files.
Free, with no in-app purchases. For iPhone with iOS 17 or later; in English, Polish, German, Italian, Spanish and French.
